Definitions & Clarifications

This document outlines the specific terms, conditions, and interpretations that govern the use of Brad's Kingdom and its associated services. By accessing or playing the game, you agree to the following clarifications, which supersede any conflicting general statements found elsewhere.
1. In-Game Resources & Currency
All virtual resources—including gold, stone, food, and mana—are digital items with no real-world monetary value. They cannot be exchanged for cash, goods, or services outside the game environment. Any reference to "purchase" or "buy" within the game refers exclusively to acquiring in-game items using in-game currency or premium currency obtained through legitimate means.
- Premium currency (Gems) can be earned through gameplay or purchased via authorized app stores. Purchased Gems are non-refundable except as required by applicable law.
- Resource generation rates are subject to balancing updates. The developer reserves the right to adjust production values without prior notice to maintain fair play.
- In-game trades between players are final. The developer does not mediate disputes over resource exchanges.
2. Territory & Alliance Boundaries
Territory claims are determined by the game's map algorithm and player actions. No real-world geographic or political boundaries are represented. Alliances are player-created groups with no legal standing. The developer is not responsible for disputes arising from alliance leadership changes, member conduct, or territorial conflicts.
- A player's "kingdom" is a virtual construct limited to the game's server. It does not imply sovereignty or legal ownership of any real property.
- Alliance names and emblems must not contain offensive, trademarked, or misleading content. The developer may rename or disband alliances that violate this rule.
- Territory captured during events or wars is temporary and may be reset during seasonal updates.
3. Combat & Strategy Mechanics
All combat outcomes are calculated server-side using deterministic formulas based on unit stats, terrain, and player decisions. There is no random element that can be influenced by external factors. "Luck" or "critical hits" are cosmetic animations that do not affect the underlying mathematical result.
- Unit statistics (attack, defense, speed) are subject to change during balance patches. Historical performance is not guaranteed.
- Siege mechanics, including wall durability and troop morale, are simulated for gameplay purposes only. They do not reflect historical medieval warfare accuracy.
- Auto-resolve battles use the same logic as manual battles but skip the visual presentation. Results are identical to what would occur if the battle were played manually.
4. Account & Data Ownership
Your account is a license to access the game, not a transfer of ownership. All game data, including progress, achievements, and cosmetic items, remains the property of the developer. You may not sell, trade, or transfer your account to another person without explicit written permission.
- Account sharing is permitted only within the same household. The account holder is responsible for all actions taken while the account is shared.
- Inactive accounts may be deleted after 12 months of continuous inactivity. You will receive a warning email 30 days before deletion.
- Data collected during gameplay is governed by our Privacy Policy. We do not sell personal data to third parties.
5. Updates & Service Changes
The developer may update, modify, or discontinue any part of the game at any time. This includes removing features, changing mechanics, or ending support for older operating systems. We will provide reasonable notice for major changes via in-game announcements or email.
- Beta features are provided "as is" and may contain bugs. Feedback is welcome but does not guarantee implementation.
- Server maintenance occurs weekly on Tuesdays from 02:00 to 04:00 UTC. During this time, the game may be unavailable.
- If the game is discontinued, you will have 90 days to request a refund for any unused premium currency purchased within the last 30 days.
